The question is followed with a quick, kindly rejoinder or are you Divinely inspired?

Our collective answer is that it takes both being a bit nuts and a whole lot of Divine inspiration to open a new retail business, especially when the illusion of uncertainty dances about like hungry wolves in the desert baying at a full moon.

Stone Spirit Lodge as we have witnessed and been told by numerous people is a Spiritual destination for the many many classes, healing events and musical concerts that we have.

In other words, as a young business being slowly nurtured, we are doing so many things right and yet, the elusive financial stability strains to grasp the bright orange carrot of abundance ever present.

Besides the beautiful spiritual tools we offer, Stone Spirit Lodge is somewhat of an intangible, literally as was written about us right after we opened, “Westport Store sells solace.”

Branching out as we have done will no doubt solidify Stone Spirit Lodge in the long run: bringing a major concert, Deva Premal & Miten with Manose to Kansas City, partnering with others to promote Ashana Live! and our New Vanguard KC Coffehouse series at Stone Spirit Lodge and now exploring a nonprofit entity, Oneness Arts KC, to showcase spiritual art and entertainment- all of these things are here right now and point to a time of great Light and Love.

The how of the short run is what keeps new shopkeepers on the razor’s edge, always on the lookout for an interested benefactor to ease the way.
